This bench is engineered around a signature Interlocking Joint System for maximum durability.
Base Unit (Grounded Block): The large, light-grey base block acts as a massive anchor. A precise, internal recess is cast along the rear of the block.
Backrest Slab (Interlocking Backrest): The charcoal backrest slab is cast as a separate, thinner component. It features an integrated “spine” extension on its underside, which is precision-fitted to slide down into the base unit’s recess. This creates a powerful mechanical bond that resists leaning forces.
The Strength Wedge: Integrated into the rear of the charcoal spine is a engineered concrete wedge that fits against the base, creating a compression lock and providing structural support for the backrest.

This unit is specified with the following key dimensions:

• Total length: 800 – 1600mm (please contact us for a custom length)
• Backrest Height (Floor to Top): approx 845mm
• Seat Depth (Seated Section): approx 450mm
• Base Depth: approx 600mm

Composition: Cast using high-performance GFRC / ECC Premium Architectural Concrete.. Micro-fiber reinforcement provides significantly higher flexural strength than standard concrete, allowing for large, monolithic slabs.
Compressive Strength: approx 60 MPa after 28-day cure.
Finishes: All surfaces are hand-sanded to a refined, silky satin finish.
Sealer: Multi-stage penetrating architectural Satin sealer for staining and wear resistance.

Size: Custom size is available on request
Colour: Base and Backrest can be mixed/matched from our concrete colour range
Fixing: Available with modifications for permanent surface bolting in public areas.

• Clean regularly with a soft cloth and warm water or any PH neutral cleaner
• Avoid sharp objects that may scratch the sealer coating
• Clean up oils and acidic liquids from the surface to avoid damaging the sealer and concrete
• 12 month structural warranty on the concrete
• Concrete is stain resistant – harsh chemicals when left on the concrete surface may affect the sealer coating
• Due to expansion and contraction of the concrete as a result of heat, micro cracks may appear which are generally not structural in nature and are normal in concrete
• All dimensions provided are approximate due to the nature of this product. Slight variations may occur in sizes, colour and finish due to the hand-made nature of the product
